UP welcomes household-item donations. Because of participants’ experiences, donated household items should be brand new. After years of receiving hand-me-downs, having something completely their own can matter.

Cash gifts may be made by check, ACH transfer, or wire transfer from your bank.
Gifts of appreciated stock held one year or longer may allow donors to avoid capital gains while supporting UP.
Donors may consider outright gifts of real estate or a retained life estate arrangement.
A gift through a will can include cash, securities, real estate, personal property, a percentage of an estate, or a contingent amount.
A CRT can provide income to a donor or beneficiary for life or a term of years, with the remaining principal later supporting UP.
